MY 2020 LIKE NO OTHER
. What's up wonderful readers? I promise to make this particular blog post an interesting one. Guys it's not easy o, 2020 has come and it is about to go just like that . We will all agree that the year has been one to remember all our lives. Well in this post I'll be taking you month by month my experiences this year. I hope you enjoy it.
JANUARY- I, just like everyone else, entered the year 2020 with so much hopes and expectations. I remember how I stayed up late on New year's Eve, looking into the navy blue sky, counting down to 12.00 am with my family. There was a sparkle in my eye on New Year's Day as I wished almost anyone I came across "A Happy New Year" with a wide smile on my face almost reaching my eyes. It was a year I expected all dreams to be fulfilled.
FEBRUARY- A month I set out to be the best in my class, to defend my 'prefectship' ( it's not easy to be an SS 1 prefect in MGC). I was reading and more determined than before to be the best. All of a sudden I started hearing whispers about the CORONA VIRUS pandemic.
MARCH- CORO came and stopped school before exam. It was cool. It then became boring, no school and nothing to do (well except me practicing HTML). I literally did not leave my house door not to even talk about stepping out of the gate.
APRIL- April came and it was also slacking until I received a message that school was starting on the 25th (at least something to do).Online classes commenced and that's about it.
MAY- I can't even remember what happened this month all I know is that CORONA was still outside and online classes were on, but I have a very serious Question to ask and please give me a truthful reply, Who paid attention to online classes? " REMEMBER TRUTHFUL REPLY"ππ
JUNE-What really happened???? πππ
JULY- I dropped the bomb, I wowed myself, I took the first step to my success. I created my very own blog. This was my new beginning and of course one of my most memorable moments this year.
AUGUST- I got to know people on social media who I could connect with because I believe I saw some part of me in them. The likes of @crackheadextra, @nyeka_d, @caramel.plugg, @the_odditty , @_marvella_. Long and short of it all is I discovered I am crazier than I thought.
SEPTEMBER: The month i thought physical classes were resuming (but they didn't), so I started finishing up my notes. The month I took my first step in my modelling career, going for a modelling casting and call, it was very interesting, nerve wrecking but most of all, it was worth while (my leap of faith).
OCTOBER- I learnt about how frustrated Nigerians are on October 1st (that's another story on its own). Then I left for school in a rush. Resuming was kind of scary because I had not read enough but oh well I still resumed.
NOVEMBER- I only spent two weeks in school and then I fell sick. This is a month I will never forget. I had two surgeries in one month . One minor, the other major. I spent one month in the hospital from 8th Nov- 8th Dec. I thank God for life. I am really grateful.
DECEMBER- First of all Queens are born in December. Secondly I turned 16 this month and it was really emotional because I thought I was going to celebrate my sweet sixteen in hospital but I got discharged a day to my sixteenth birthday. My birthday turned out better than I expected.
I am grateful to God for this year and thankful to friends and family for love and support all through the year!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS 2020, WE CAME ,WE SAW, AND BY GOD'S GRACE WE HAVE CONQUERED
HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!!!!!
