NOT SO BIG GIRL ERA 😔

Haaaaaa!!!I knew it wasn't cheap but I never knew it was this expensive. I am talking about no other thing but the "big girl lifestyle". I just entered the university and as such I am having the big girl fever, I told myself that I had to invest in something either my scent, hair, skin or clothes. Something just had to show that I was a "uni" girl.
 My first shocker was the price of sunscreen, I was honestly tired of this Nigerian sun and it felt like the sun in my school was just hotter so I opted for sunscreen because it's a big girl trend🤭. I went into a store haven budgeted 5k only for me to see 10k for a bottle I would use only for two weeks. On the spot I just remembered that umbrella would be sunscreen till further notice 😭.
 
My next shocker just had to be the cost of makeup. "When I went into the store and I saw the prices, I said "awwoo jumpscare"”. That was my reaction when I bought  two items for 7500. The shop attendant even had the audacity to tell me to add another item to my purchase me that was already crying inside. Kudos to the makeup girlies out there, the lord is your muscle.

My conclusion is that I am not ready for this big girl life yet, I am sorry for everyone I told I'll be entering my big girl era this year, it is not possible. This Buhari economy has other plans for me 😭. Till next time.

I would have written this piece on Father's Day but I didn't want to be selfish. I didn't want to turn a happy occasion to a sad one. So I'll write it today, some days after Father's Day.
