THE WISHLIST 💕

Happy New month eyin fans mi and welcome to the magical month of December when greats such as my self were born. I pray this month brings you so much happiness and favour.

 Speaking of favours, ever felt like a highway robber when someone asks " What do you want?" and although you know what you want, it's at the tip of your tongue,  but you just say " I don't know, surprise me" . You know  you genuinely don't want to be surprised but how do you express your desires without looking like a thief. This is the exact feeling I get every year when I get asked what I want for my birthday.

My birthday is  on the 9th of December (save the date) and  this year I have decided it will be different because one of my biggest discoveries this year is that a closed mouth is a closed destiny that never gets fed  and since I don't want my destiny to be closed, I have decided to bring to your attention some of the things I would want to be gifted on my birthday:

1.)A Bento Cake with a really cute caption because what are birthdays really without cake??

2.)An Earpod.

3.)A content creation kit: This content creator needs a kit to take her content to the next level. Some of the things in this kit may include a tripod, ringlight, etc.

4.)Books: I started reading this year and I must say  I have learnt to enjoy books the way I never thought I would, so if you want to be there when nobody was there for me, please buy me books. African Literature would be perfect.

4.)Customized jewelry: What's better than a lovely piece of jewelry??? A lovely piece of jewelry that has your name on it .

6.)Money: I need not to overemphasize the importance of money to a student. Please send a sister money today, I accept in all currencies.
 
7.)PRAYERS:  Very important element for birthdays because I believe that good things that happen to us aren't just pure coincidence but as a result of the prayers of our loved ones.

Besides if  Davido alias "Omo Baba Olowo"  can put his account number on internet for funds and Korty as well who am I not too ? Even the bible recommends that we knock so that the door can be open unto us. 

Therefore my beautiful readers, I have knocked and I am patiently waiting for doors to be opened to me. Happy New month once again.

TO BEING SEEN❤️

I grew up around lots of women and girls. Strong ones. Loud ones. Soft ones. The ones who hugged too tightly and the ones who made ofe nsala that could shut you up mid-rant. Raised by a single mum, loved by a battalion of aunties, shadowed by female cousins, and shaped by an all-girls secondary school run by reverend sisters. So, I think it’s safe to say I’ve experienced women and girls in all their forms. And today in honour of national girlfriends day, I just want to say I’m thankful for all the beautiful women and girls who have held space for me, the ones who’ve helped me grow, cry, laugh, rethink, and re-love myself again. I always said I’d save this story for Forbes, but I’ve been AWOL for too long. So take this piece as my apology. Sometimes you hear a song and wish you could go back to the very moment you heard it for the first time, nostalgia does that to you. Well, not this time. I don’t want to relive the first moment I heard CashApp by Bella Shmurda, but it remains what I’d call a canon memory. “Scar her.” Those were the words that greeted me that morning. “Madame, I’ve thought about other solutions, but I don’t want her to have complications in the future.
