AN ESSENTIAL SPICE OF LIFE
Eyin fans mi, can we all agree that a little "crase" is relevant from time-to-time?? Nothing beats greeting a little "gbas gbos" with a well deserved " gbas gbos gbas" especially from someone who least expects it from you. A few weeks ago , I had a little squabble with a domestic staff in my school. Normally I would have just walked off or let it go even though I knew I wasn't wrong because "too much shalaye dey spoil steeze" but that day was different, I told myself I had too match her crase for future purpose. Now we see each other and there's no bad blood, everybody is respecting themselves. Composure is very key but we should normalize "changing it for people" sometimes because people honestly don't know how to behave or they just get too comfortable behaving a certain way, therefore there should be a subtle reminder that crase is not restricted to people of a certain tribe, age or colour.
