THIS IS ALL ME

Image
This post was well thought of by me, because we all have different personalities, and sometimes we are afraid to be who we  are because of what people might say or think. We worry about what people think about us, we try to change who we are to make people feel good about themselves. Let's accept us for us, regardless of what others think. When we start loving ourselves for "who we are", people will love us for  us. This year 2020 has been my year of self discovery and Sofiyat Aderonke Ibrahim a.k.a the oddity, has been a big part of it. She has thought me to be proud of my insecurities, and be the best me I can be not for anybody else but myself. Below are images that describe meπŸ˜‚πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜„ Also look for images that describe you. This is me and this is a lot of us, Smile and proclaim who you are regardless of what the world might think. NO ONE KNOWS YOU BETTER THAN YOU This is true ☺☺😊. Not all of us can take nonsense because when you beginning to tolerate unacceptable things ...

MY DREAM FOR NIGERIA

A young child with many dreams I am,   a child who dreams of a great Nigeria,   a Nigeria with sufficient infrastructure for technology to thrive,   a Nigeria where anybody regardless of ethnicity, religion and social background can become somebody ,   a Nigeria with discipline,   a Nigeria where true democracy is not enslaved , a terrorist free Nigeria, a corruption free Nigeria, a Nigeria with leaders who have the interest of Nigerians at heart, a Nigeria practicing federalism, but most of all I crave, I dream of a Nigeria where every child is giving the right to a whole education, , I dream of a Nigeria where the girl child is giving equal right as the male child , a Nigeria where she is given the right to air her opinion, a Nigeria where she is given the right to an education like her brothers without being condemned to the kitchen. I dream of a Nigeria that is appreciated by all Nigerian’s regardless of social standings. The late Obafemi  ...

COVID-19 (A NEW NORMAL) - LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

Covid-19 has stopped us  from carrying out our day-to-day routine as normal, we can no longer visit friends, go to public places, and the part that affects me the most is , we can't have physical contact at all, I love hugs, warm hugs that make you feel safe and loved,  I mean who doesn't , I love touching whom ever I am talking to, It help me to be able to express myself better.    I started thinking a lot this period and I  realized that even though COVID  has taking away the life that we are used to, it has also given us the time for things we would ordinarily not have time for. For example that movie you wanted to watch with your family but work wouldn't let you, That particular meal you wanted to prepare for your whole family but you  were always  incomplete, those tutorials you wanted to take online but you were just to busy , that book you wanted to read, and a whole lot of other things  you wanted ...

#JUSTICE FOR IZU/ # JUSTICE FOR UWA PART 2

The news of izu and Uwa still cause my heart to ache but like always everything in life has a lesson to teach and these stories have brought us to this themes; Rape,False rape allegation, Suicide and most of all where to draw the line with the use of social media. RAPE: i firmly stand against rape and i feel it is a cowardice act that is perpetrated by the weak.Victims of rape are likely to be scared for life and it takes a whole lot of courage to be able to move on after that tragedy. I used to believe that it was only girls that were subjected to rape but recently i also realized boys could be violated even though on rare occasions. People facing this trauma need a lot of help to overcome it, they need love, a listening ear, most of all they need patience. it is not a day's job but with support from family members they can overcome it, so if you around someone who has been raped don't get tired of showing love.Perpetrators of this evil act  should watch out because when they ...

#JUSTICE FOR IZU / # JUSTICE FOR UWA

I woke up this morning to the news of the death of a promising young Nigerian, Izuchukwu Madubueze, Izu took his life due to being accused as a sex offender by a supposed feminist on tweeter. This brought tears to my eyes.   A few months ago we were fighting for justice for Uwaila Omozuwa,a UNIBEN student who was brutally raped in a church premises and died later due to this cause and see what is happening after, a fellow woman using this tragedy to her selfish advantage.   I am sad, angry and most of all disappointed with the fact the sad happenings in recent times to get back at someone for not agreeing to a relationship with them.   The pain of another woman is what she used to rope an innocent fellow.Who on earth made a twitter influencer a judge. Who gave any right to slander someone on social media,  She is going to provide the names of the supposedly raped individuals. Women wouldn't be listened anymore, JUSTICE FOR IZU AND UWA,they deserve it. In my candid opi...
